Wilke Technology – Single Board Computers, Embedded Modules
Wilke Technology was founded in 1989 with the main objective of serving as distributor of development tools for hard- and software developers. Within only a few years a full product range with distribution of more than two dozen international manufacturers was build up.
The contact to customers and decision-makers made clear that development processes tend to lag behind quick market requirements. Likewise it often that the wheel was invented again and again. Developers at different locations doing almost the same - that's no synergy.
A system was asked for that makes well-tried components for recurring development tasks accessible for everyone. A system simple in handling and maintainance, but also delivering fast and powerful results. And offering a good price/performance relationship for attractive end products.

The concept has a name: BASIC-Tiger. Highly stable multitasking computers in module size, easy to program, usable anywhere. Today BASIC-Tigers work in thousands of projects as single applications or as series products. The line of computers, I/O modules, board solutions, tools and accessories, device drivers, functions and applications is constantly growing. The reliability of BASIC-Tiger solutions is remarkable.
BASIC-Tiger computers control equipment in operating rooms and works in laser speed guns, in ordnance survey devices and bottling plants for bulk goods, as depth controls of large excavators, in dental chairs, in tennis racket string machines, in house controls, vehicle fleet controls, container tracking systems, in quality assurance systems, ... and many more.
